Tejas Barhate
Software Engineer

I am an Engineer and have been working with MES for more than five years. I have worked on the developmental team of MXAM for the last two years. Before that, I was an integral part of MES Test Center and additionally worked as a safety engineer for various customer projects. Model-based software development was my desired field to work after completing my master’s degree in Embedded Systems Design. Contributing to the development of the leading tool MXAM to ensure the comprehensive static analysis of the software models and working on the quality assurance of software models as a part of the MES Test Center has helped me to accumulate a lot of technical aspects in designing embedded systems and catering to the customer needs from time to time. Working on multiple tasks with autonomy motivates me the most and offers possibilities to learn something new each and every day. The flexible work culture and open atmosphere brings a positive “can-do” attitude and helps me gain a sense of accomplishment in my work. These positive aspects help me to manage my work-life balance at its best working with MES.

As a software engineer for one of MES’ products, MXAM, I have had the opportunity to dive into interesting tasks while exploring the field of safety in automotive software. At MES I am always encouraged to work on new ideas and take on different responsibilities. But the best part of working at MES is the people. I work with some of the most friendly and intelligent people, who help me daily to learn and develop professionally.

I enjoy every day anew working at MES not only thanks to the pleasant working atmosphere, but also because I felt like I was part of the team right from the beginning. I like to end a busy day of work by going jogging.

I joined MES in 2017 as an intern and learned a lot about quality assurance of models developed mainly for the automotive industry while working at the MES Test Center. Later, with the solid support and thorough guidance from MES, I was able to successfully complete my master's thesis. The encouragement from MES to try and implement experimental ideas with relentless ingenuity was the main driving force for me to join MES as a full-time employee. I was a bit nervous, having never worked in a professional work environment before, let alone in a foreign country, but the journey so far has been amazing. The work itself is varied and challenging, which keeps me on my toes, but the open and encouraging environment helps me overcome any problem with ease. I am able to acquire the state of the art knowledge required for my work, which contributes not only to my personal skills but also to the overall development of the company. As an expat, I feel welcome in the multicultural atmosphere of the company and have the invaluable opportunity to familiarize myself with different lifestyles.

Sales Operations Assistant

I am a business graduate and shipping agent and have been working as Sales Operations Specialist at MES for nearly six years now. My responsibilities include order processing and license management and I am the main contact for our customers in regard to their maintenance contracts. My main duties are varied and interesting. In the past six years here at MES I have been able to learn a lot about the technical field and because technical development is going on fast, I can expand my knowledge further which is exiting and very motivating for me. We have a very positive and dynamic working atmosphere at MES, a good team spirit and great customers all around the world.

Björn Kunze
Senior Manager Marketing & Trainings

I have been working at MES since 2015, so you could call me an “oldie.” Alongside my colleague, I have been determining and managing the direction of the marketing team as Product Owner Marketing, since 2021. I am also the tudoor academy's responsible manager.

From my perspective, MES is still a good mix between a startup atmosphere and an established company that has been around for over 15 years. I find the company size neither too large nor too small.

At the beginning, it was not always easy to grasp the technical details surrounding the highly specialized MES tools. But I have always been impressed by MES' international orientation and its worldwide customer base.

Other great things about MES are the very far-reaching possibilities for home office, the diversity of colleagues, and work-life balance, which do not just exist on paper. Open communication with the managing directors is not just limited to our yearly performance review. All of these factors enable me to actively fulfill my role.
