Release Notes – What's New?

Highlights in latest version of MES Quality Commander® (MQC) v.8.5 (April 2026)

Change the Time Granularity To Fit Your Analysis, Whenever You Need It
Time granularity can now be adjusted on the fly by every user. You can switch between day, week, month, quarter, year, or even time of data directly in the toolbar, and all visualizations update immediately.
This makes it much easier to explore data at the level of detail that best supports the task at hand.
The new time revision granularity shows all changes of data during a day creating multiple revisions per day.
Diff is directly available for all revision granularities as well. You can link the diff directly to the selected revision granularity. In this way diff follows any selection changes in revision granularity.

Collapse Older Time Periods While Keeping Recent Data in Full Detail
Time ranges in trend visualizations can now be folded into a higher parent granularity, while other data stays visible in a finer granularity. For example, you can review historical results by month and still track the latest changes by day. This reduces visual noise, keeps long running trends easier to read, and helps you focus on what is most relevant right now.
