Dr. Hartmut Pohlheim Sole Managing Director of MES

The Berlin software company Model Engineering Solutions GmbH (MES) is reorganizing itself. Effective immediately, Dr. Hartmut Pohlheim, CTO since 2008, will take over as Managing Director of the company. Dr. Heiko Dörr, long-standing Managing Director and CEO, stepped down from his post on February 25, 2020.

Dr. Hartmut Pohlheim has headed MES since 2008 as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Managing Director. During this time, he set a clear direction for the technological advancement and the further development of the organization. With immediate effect, Hartmut Pohlheim will take over as sole Managing Director. "Even with the new internal organizational structures, our mission remains the same. We offer our customers solutions for software quality assurance so that they have more freedom for the actual tasks at hand, namely the development of functions. With our subsidiaries in the USA and Shanghai, along with our network of distributors, we provide our tools and services to our customers worldwide," says Dr. Hartmut Pohlheim, summarizing the mission of MES.

As part of the senior executive restructuring, Dr. Hartmut Pohlheim will also take over the management of the subsidiary in China, Model Engineering Solutions Ltd. Mutian Guo, Sales Director of MES China, will continue to be the local contact for customers at MES' regional offices in Shanghai. Similarly, Oliver Collmann, Director Sales of MES, will take over the management of Model Engineering Solutions Inc. in Detroit, MI, U.S.
