Auto Connect

This action allows you to automatically connect blocks based on matching port names. This makes it easy to connect a large number of signals between subsystems and port blocks.

You can apply the action to all blocks in the current subsystem by selecting nothing, or to a selected block. In the latter case, only signal lines leading to or from the selected block will be added.

As a general rule, signal lines are only added between ports of subsystem blocks or port blocks. Ports that do not have names (e.g. ports of Gain blocks), or have a default name (e.g.'In1', 'Out4') will not be connected.

If a named port cannot be assigned a uniquely matching port, no signal line is added and a corresponding warning is displayed.

In MoRe's configuration file, you can predefine properties of the lines to be added, such as signal propagation.

Example 1:

Automatically connect all blocks in the current subsystem.

Example 2:

Automatically connect a selected block.

Usage:

Select the block for which signal lines should be added automatically. If you want to conncect all supported blocks in the current subsystem, select nothing. Then select the action via the MoRe menu.
