As Managing Director of MES, Sophia leverages her interdisciplinary expertise in business, mathematics, and economics to drive the development of industry-leading automotive safety solutions. Passionate about software quality, she leads the development of MES Model Examiner® (MXAM), drawing on her specialized knowledge in modeling guidelines and functional safety, among others.

In addition to her leadership role, Sophia actively shapes industry conversations around model-based design through her thought leadership on LinkedIn, where she represents both MXAM and MES Model and Refactor® (MoRe).

Through her work as a trainer at tudoor academy, she transfers critical knowledge to engineering teams, enabling them to maximize tool effectiveness and maintain competitive advantage.

About the Author

Sophia Kohle holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from Universität Ulm. She also has two master's degrees: a Master of Science in Technomathematics from Technische Universität Berlin and an MBA from Steinbeis-Hochschule School of Next Practices.

She started at MES as Product Manager for MXAM, the tool in which she now specializes. In 2022, she was appointed Managing Director of the company. Her business acumen, years of experience working with leading automotive professionals, and deep expertise in MXAM allow her to make unique contributions to users and also internal teams.

Currently, Sophia focuses on improving all aspects that make MES the best option for software safety tools. Her work centers on making mobility safer and helping companies maintain their competitive edge through more efficient modeling practices.
