About the Author
Ferry Bachmann joined Model Engineering Solutions GmbH (MES) in September 2014. He holds a degree in computer science from Humboldt University of Berlin and gained valuable experience as a research associate, working on various robotics projects. During his time at MES, Ferry’s role has continuously evolved. Starting as a Software Engineer for MXRAY, he later took on additional responsibility as Product Owner for MXRAY before moving into his current role as Product Owner and Software Engineer for MoRe. His strong technical background and hands-on experience enable him to drive the ongoing development of MoRe with a clear focus on automation, usability, and customer needs.
From a technical perspective, Ferry concentrates on advancing automation within modeling workflows. Key areas of focus include auto-layout functionalities, aiming to eliminate the need for manual layout work, as well as further automating modeling tasks to increase efficiency and consistency. Through support activities, web sessions, and webinars, he actively supports customers and colleagues in using MoRe effectively in real-world projects.
