In model-based development, model quality is the key factor in developing good code. Static model analysis is of fundamental importance to quality assurance and the application of modeling guidelines is well established industrywide. But compliance with the required design principles extends beyond modeling guidelines, as many aspects can only be improved within the context of model properties.
