Standards like ISO/SAE 21434 and the UNECE R155 rules oblige car manufacturers and suppliers to approach cybersecurity in a holistic manner and implement appropriate solutions for the whole product life cycle. E-mobility, highly-automated driving, and data exchange in the context of smart cities present brand new challenges to cybersecurity.
